The so-called 'jaspe' fabric, also known as 'ikat', is a light fabric from the traditional weaving culture of a Mayan tribe from Lake Atitlan. Individually tied and dyed threads are woven into elegant, fine fabrics.

The women's cooperative:
Is an association of 35 single, indigenous women who organize themselves and thus create work for all artists and the opportunity to combat poverty and even enable children to get an education.

The Jaspe scarves are typical and original products of the traditional Mayan weaving culture.
They are made from threads that are individually tied and dyed to obtain the patterns and colors, which are then woven into elegant scarves.
